The KPI visual is a great visual to showcase key performance indicator along with goals and the difference between value and goal. The biggest problem has been that the word goal isn't helpful for a report user. Does the goal mean last year or forecast? Or perhaps last month?
Thankfully with the monthly update from Microsoft, we can now easily change the name of the text for goals. Now we can easily inform the user what type of goal it is, such as Last Year, Yesterday, Target, Forecast, etc!.
This is a great example of a small addition to functionality that makes a tremendous difference for the user.
